Who is behind the Verteco Peppol service
E-invoices are legally binding tax documents. That is why we believe you have the right to know exactly who delivers them for you, where your data physically reside and under what conditions. Towards our customers we are fully transparent: on this page you will find the people, the company, the data centre and direct links to every commitment we have made publicly.

What we stand behind
- All our contracts are drawn up and public. You can read the terms and conditions, the data processing agreement (DPA), the service level agreement (SLA) and the NDA in full at /zmluvy before you commit to anything.
- We work with a reputable law firm, so that our contracts and procedures match current legislation and we can stand behind them.
- We are liable for the service to the extent its nature and the law require: delivery of legally binding tax documents, statutory reports to the Financial Administration, protection of personal data under the GDPR and measured availability with contractual credits under the SLA.
- No lock-in. We hand over the original XML of all documents when the cooperation ends and we guarantee the transition to another provider.
Where your data run
Documents, original XML files, the database and backups are stored in the data centre of our infrastructure provider at Hanauer Landstrasse 298, 60314 Frankfurt am Main (the Digital Realty / Interxion campus, which also hosts the core of the DE-CIX internet exchange). All processing runs in the EU; e-mail notifications are delivered by the EU providers listed in the privacy policy.

How we got here
May 2026
Successful completion of the OpenPeppol conformance tests (19/19 test cases: eDelivery, PKI, SK Billing, SK Self-Billing).
26 May 2026
Decision of the Financial Directorate of the Slovak Republic no. 605502941/2026 on accreditation as a delivery service provider; entry in the register of certified providers (PA SK ID EFSK000031) in June 2026.
July 2026
OpenPeppol production PKI certificate and operation on the live Peppol network. The first real companies receive and send e-invoices through our service.
1 January 2027
Start of mandatory Slovak e-invoicing under Act No. 385/2025 Coll. Our service is ready well ahead of time.

- Certified provider
- Entered in the register of certified delivery service providers of the Financial Administration of the Slovak Republic under PA SK ID EFSK000031, with our own Peppol Access Point PSK001128 (not a rented one). Verify the entry directly in the Financial Administration register ↗.
- ISO/IEC 27001:2022
- No provider has to hold the certificate yet: OpenPeppol introduced it as an obligation for the whole market with a deadline of 1 October 2027. Our certification is under way with the accredited body SKQS, s. r. o., Žilina (SNAS accreditation), chosen in September 2026; we plan the certificate by 1 July 2027, i.e. with a margin. Until we hold it, we show no badge or logo.
- Availability and incidents

How we work with technology
- Every code change is checked by more than 300 automated tests, and a deployment with a failed build never reaches production.
- Transfers are encrypted (TLS, AS4 with OpenPeppol PKI certificates), access is governed by the principle of least privilege and security events are logged for 365 days.
- The production and test environments are separate; the public sandbox is at test.peppol.verteco.digital.
- We hand over the original XML of every document when the cooperation ends. No lock-in; we guarantee the transition to another provider.
